What We Teach

The Holy Scriptures

We teach that the Bible leads anyone towards an understanding about eternal life, learn their purpose in life in this world and guides anyone in their daily life, in school, singleness, marriage, parenting, financial stewardship, career and old age.

We teach that the Bible is God’s Word revealed to His creation.  All 66 Books of Old and New Testament are written by human authors through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  It is the final authority for faith and practice as a believer and member of Christ body.   It is the infallible, inerrant and sufficient Word of God.

God

We teach that there is but one God who created the Heavens and the Earth.  He is seated on His throne and exercises His sovereignty over all creation throughout history.

We teach the Trinity.  One God in three persons.  God the father, God the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  Each equally deserving worship and obedience.

  • God the Father.  We teach that God the Father, the first person of the Trinity.  The initiator of creation, through His Word, everything came into being.  The one who gave His Son to be the Savior of the world.  He is the Father to those whom He adopted as children.
  • God the Son.  We teach that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity.  The firstborn among creation.  He came into this world so that we might have life and enjoy it abundantly.  His earthly life, He was truly God and truly man.    As a son, He was obedient unto death.  He gave His life as a sacrifice for our sins.  So that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.
  • God the Holy Spirit.  We teach that He is the third person of the trinity.  He is a person, not an energy.  He is possessing intellect, emotions, will and power, just like the Father and the Son.  He is the substitute of Jesus Christ here on earth, to be the believer`s counselor, comforter and teacher.  His work began at the Pentecost, empowering the saints to be witnesses to the world.

We teach that the Holy Spirit bestows gifts to the church, anointing to the believers to do the work of ministry, as the Spirit wills.

Man

We teach that in the beginning, God created man and woman.  He created them in His image and likeness.  Created to love and give glory to God – that is the whole duty of humanity.  The fall of man took place and that all men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.  Jesus came to seek and save humanity.

Salvation

We teach that by His grace through faith, we have been saved.  Not of human works so that no one will boast.

We teach that God works in human salvation.  From the time a person had faith and repented, the person is also given a right standing before God and become a member of God’s family.

We teach that a believer’s Christian life is a process of growth.  That even though a believer is justified, He will grow through a process of sanctification until that person is conformed to the likeness of Christ.  If the person is truly born-again, he or she will not lose salvation.

Holy Angels

We teach that angels are created beings and are therefore not to be worshiped. Although they are a higher order of creation than man, they are created to serve God and to worship Him.

We teach that Satan is a created angel and the author of sin. He incurred the judgment of God by rebelling against his Creator.  In the end, He will be punished in the eternal fire together with the fallen angels and unbelievers.

The Church

We teach that the church is the body of Christ.  The called-out ones from darkness into light.

We teach that Church life includes different activities wherein God can bestow His blessings.  It is called means of grace.  It includes teaching of the Word, baptism, the Lord`s supper, prayer for one another, worship, church discipline, giving, spiritual gifts, fellowship, evangelism and personal ministry to individuals.

We teach that God empowered the Church through His Holy Spirit after Jesus ascension.  With the spiritual gifts given to the Church, they will be able to fulfill the Great Commission mandated by Jesus Christ until His return.

Last Things

We teach that in the end, Jesus Christ will return and take His people with Him before the seven-year tribulation.  This is called the rapture of the church.  There will be a rewarding for all believers according to their works.

The next event as stated in the book of Revelation will be a series of prosperity followed by catastrophic events all over the earth.  This is God’s righteous judgment poured out upon an unbelieving world.

We teach that the Second coming of Jesus will take place after the tribulation period.  He will reign with all the saints and believers, establish His messianic kingdom for 1,000 years on earth.  He will overthrow the Antichrist and remove Satan from this world.

We teach that there will be a new heaven and new earth.  It will be the dwelling place of the saints and believers, where they will enjoy God and one another for eternity.
